Is this place good for large groups?

I went with a party of 12. So yes

ask for Jacob, he's nice, efficient and knows the menu. Everything he recommended was stellar!

What's the happy hour like here?

Surprisingly cheap and worth the money.

Is this the kind of place where you could go wearing what you wore to the Disney parks that day? Or is it a little dressier?

A little nicer, but casual would probably be welcomed. Very fun and friendly place.

I've been looking at this menu for 4 days lol, I finally get here, walk to the bar to order and apparently Google does not have the updated menu. While slightly disappointed that I couldn't get the food combination I wanted (big fin trio) I must say, the staff (Michelle and Jeremy)were very accommodating and patient as I worked through the changes. As I sit here waiting for my food (very big order for myself and my family) I am pleased, happy, and very excited to enjoy my food!!

Very pricey and not worth it. The crab cakes mushy, broccolini was limp, seafood scampi was missing half of the seafood ingredients, and the children's grilled chicken was clearly fried. Staff seemed confused when questioned and continued to claim chicken wad grilled when the super crispy skin and burnt grease taste clearly said otherwise. The restaurant staff seem to think the upscale atmosphere will convince people that the food is worth the price when it clearly isn't. Save your money and go somewhere that you will be more satisfied.

My husband and I had the best take out meal from Big Fin. I had the surf and surf, so much good food, a crabcake, plenty shrimp and scallops, mash potatoes, mac and cheese, salad, desert and the best grilled asparagus. Wow, this just my meal! A must do dinner place. This was from the 3 course meal menu.

Superb seafood in a relaxed, spacious environment. Great service, broad menu, food done well. A touch pricey, but appropriate for seafood.

Went here earlier today to celebrate our honeymoon and everything was beyond superb! Nick was an awesome waiter who knew the entire menu and was able to make recommendations that were to die for. Would definitely come back again soon!! 5 out of 5 stars.

My co-worker and I work across from Big Fin and always wanted to try it out. When we got off of our shift we decided to head over for happy hour. When we walked in, though we were greeted politely, we were instructed to go outside and then told by the bartender to go back inside. The hostess seemed confused and instead of attempting to help us out or find out why we were sent back inside, she showed no interest. We were very disappointed on the stand-off service that we received, especially since we did mention that it was our first time there. As a side note, we were really looking forward to decompressing after our shift as healthcare workers. Looks like we won’t be going back.

Love this restaurant. Perfect for date night. They even have a special table on the upstairs for special request. The food is so fresh and well made. Cocktails taste so good. The staffs are so well manners. Nice atmosphere. Always had a good time eating here.

My family and I decided to try something new for dinner. Big fin had such awesome reviews so we order take out. The worse experience of my life. The manager was so rude and act like we did something wrong because they messed up the order. He didn't even apologize and then tries to offer me one $25 gift card for $80 worth of food. I am so upset that I want everyone to know don't EAT HERE. I even have pictures of the raw scallops and undercooked fried shrimp. 😥

Our anniversary dinner was a wonderful culinary delight! We tried the chefs new rendition of the Carpetbagger appetizer and was thoroughly impressed with the combination and balance of sweet and salt flavor! One of our best dining experiences in Orlando. We loved the attention to detail in the presentation of dishes and the honoring of our anniversary. We will be back!

I only discovered this place a month ago and I have been back twice more. If you like seafood, it is going to take you several visits to try all the menu items that will pique your interest. Juliette behind the bar was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. Big Fin is a high end restaurant with a very relaxed and comfortable vibe. A must visit for seafood lovers visiting Orlando. They also have amazing steaks, chicken dishes, and even halal lamb chops for those in your party that prefer more robust protiens.

Amazing ! This is a wonderful place to eat. The food is spectacular with a beautiful atmosphere. The swordfish filet was great, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Also the calamari appetizer was delicious. Lastly, the staff here are the most helpful and courteous I have encountered. 5 stars all day!

Best seafood and dinner experience in Orlando. We are staying in the Universal resort and so happy we took the quick trip here (under 10 min). Scott is the best server we have had in a long time. Excellent customer service, knowledge and upgrades to the menu and overall attentiveness. We came for our anniversary and regardless of occasion, its a must-do. Taste, quality and experience far exceed the price on the menu. (For real, ask for Scott)
